Excellent,
Superb, Fantastic, Fantabulous, Mind Blowing, Rocking, Heart
Throbbing... well just don't feel like stopping to give
adjectives to the event. Kolhapur Rocked to the music of
A.R.Rahman, courtesy The Wandering Souls, the Show RAHMANIA on
the occasion of launching of M.B.Club.
The only thing
that was missing in the Show was A.R.Rahman himself, otherwise
everyone present experienced the same magic that Rahman
creates. The group called The Wandering Souls is a bunch of
raw and young talent. Amol Bhave, the leader is responsible
for discovering all of them and helping them discover each
other. Whole of the team is Die Hard A.R. Rahman fan and that
shows in each of their performance. After listening to even
one of the songs we get a confirmation why they are called The
Wandering Souls, simple because they really put soul in the
song and music. The singers of the band also are none less
than musicians. Prajakta, Omkar, Josh, Jasraj,Pallvi, Swarali
& Rachana are the voice of the music they play.
They show began
with a welcome of Chief Guests and DEEP PRAJWALAN, Formal
launching of M.B. Club, a welcome speech by Shrimant Shambhaji
Raje Chhatrapati. The music fest began without any further
delay. Starting with Oruvan Theme with opening
curtains, the group promised to spell bound the whole
audience. There onwards each performance kept the people on
the edge of the sheet, cheering and clapping for the young but
really beautiful Talent. People felt like and also did dance
to the tunes of Khalbali, Chiayya Chiayaa, Rand De Basanti,
Rangeela Re, Paathshala and more. Not just that silence
prevailed during the performance of Bombay Theme, Tu
hi re and like. All in all the show was an event to
celebrated Time and Again.
